The pair clashed with the Falling Devil, which Yoru defeated after America reinvented the nuclear bomb. Later, Fami revealed herself as Li'l D, the Death Devil, explaining that Yoru intended to cause an infinite war by having Pochita erase death. After Barem Bridge destroyed Denji's home and killed his pets, an enraged Denji gave Pochita control to devour him. In a separate dimension, Asa decided to sacrifice herself to allow Denji to kill Yoru, but Pochita instead devoured Li'l D.
